Warsaw, MO (November 26, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Benton County. The accident was reported at around 11:10 a.m. on November 25.
According to local law enforcement, a collision between a 2016 Volkswagen sedan and a 2022 Ford Explorer occurred on Missouri Route 7. The incident blocked the roadway just west of the Osage River Bridge. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office and the Warsaw Police responded to the scene and blocked off the roadway.
Two people were injured in the crash. Warsaw Lincoln Ambulance transported a 13-year-old female and 33-year-old Samira Johnson, both of Fair Grove, Missouri, to Golden Valley Hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
