Grand Pass, MO (October 20, 2023) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Saline County on Tuesday, October 17.

At around 4:35 p.m., troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 65.

According to crash reports, a 2018 Cubano tractor was traveling south on US Highway 65. The vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto Arbor Road when it collided with a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle then entered this northbound lane of travel and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Impala.

Two people on the motorcycle, 29-year-old Dylan Giffen of Malta Bend, Missouri, and 41-year-old Jaime Kelly of Waverley, Missouri, where both fatally injured in the crash. The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, investigations are underway.
