Higginsville, MO (October 18, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a crash that took place in Lafayette County and left one man seriously injured.
The accident occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on October 16.
According to reports provided by MSHP Cpl. T A Baxter, 2018 Chevrolet Trax was heading down Missouri State Route 13. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze.
The driver of the Cruze, identified as 51-year-old Robert Bailey of Clinton, Missouri, was seriously injured. He was transported by LifeFlight to Research Medical Center for emergency care.
At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating.
