Kansas City, KS (September 6, 2023) – Emergency crews were called to the site of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Overland Park neighborhood.
The accident took place on Monday, September 4.
According to law enforcement, a total of four vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 35. The incident blocked several lanes of the roadway near 87th Street.
Emergency crews responded to the site of the accident and closed down several lanes on the road. Crews remained on-site for more than an hour as they worked to clear the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims and transported them to local hospitals.
The Kansas City Highway Patrol, Lenexa Police Department, and Overland Park Police all responded to assist.
The crash is currently being invested.
