Kansas City, MO – Wrong-Way Driver on US-71 Causes Serious injury Accident

Kansas City, MO (September 19, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported in the Kansas City area that ended in injuries.

On September 18, the Kansas City Police Department was requested on-site at a crash on US Highway 71.

Reports from the police show that a blue Chevy Cruze was traveling the wrong way on the highway when it crashed head-on into a white Dodge Ram 3500 Pro Master pickup truck. The incident left both vehicles with damage.

The drivers of both vehicles were injured. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment. One victim was admitted in critical condition.
