Post Oak Township, MO (September 21, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of a crash that took place in Johnson County on Wednesday evening, September 20.
Just before 4:30 p.m., a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling on Missouri State Route 13. As the vehicle headed southbound on the roadway, it became involved in a collision with a 1999 Ford F250 pickup truck just south of Route JJ. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to travel off the side of the roadway and crash into an embankment.
Two people in the pickup truck were injured. JCAD transported 22-year-old Kayley Tucker and 68-year-old Lance Tucker, both of Warrensburg, Missouri, to Western Missouri Medical Center, where they were admitted in serious condition.
The accident is being investigated.
