Kansas City, MO (April 2, 2024) – A vehicle collision reported on Sunday morning in the Kansas City area claimed the lives of two people. The incident occurred on March 31 on Interstate 435.
According to official reports, a white Ford Fusion was traveling north on the interstate during the morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near US Highway 210, a white Hino box truck crashed into the back of it. The driver and rear-seat passenger in the Ford were both severely injured. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by responding authorities. One person was critically injured in the crash and rushed to a local hospital for further care. The driver of the truck was also injured and transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
