Lee’s Summit, MI (January 6, 2024) – A 37-year-old woman was injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place on Thursday evening in Jackson County. Calls for assistance came in just after 4:40 p.m. on January 4.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2012 Ford F150 pickup truck crashed head-on into a 2007 Saturn Aura on Southeast Blue Parkway in the area near Missouri 291. Both of the vehicles suffered significant damage. Elite Tow responded to the scene of the crash to tow the vehicles from the scene. The driver of the Saturn, identified as 37-year-old Lucy Brown of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was injured. Lee’s Summit EMS transported Brown to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
