Warrensburg, MO (January 8, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident reported in Johnson County left two women injured. Calls for assistance were received at around 6:15 a.m. on January 5.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2001 Hyundai crashed into the rear of a 2011 Subaru on Missouri State Highway 13. The Subaru then collided with the rear of a 2008 Chevrolet in the area near Business US Highway 50. All three vehicles were severely damaged in the crash. The Honda and Subaru had to be towed from the scene. Two people involved in the accident, identified as 28-year-old Macey Perrine of Centerview, Missouri, and 28-year-old Carolyn Collins of Warrensburg, Missouri, were injured. The two victims were transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center, where they underwent emergency medical care. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
