Warrensburg, MO (March 9, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 65-year-old Jeffrey Shuey of Warrensburg, Missouri, lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday evening in Johnson County.
At approximately 5:50 p.m. on March 6, a 2007 Ford Focus was traveling in the 1700 block of Montserrat Park Road when it collided head-on with a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the involved parties. Authorities confirmed that 33-year-old Logan Clemmons of Warrensburg, Missouri, suffered injuries in the accident. He was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency care. One additional victim, identified as Shuey, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased on-site by Battalion Chief Bobby Edwards. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
