Marshall, MO (June 1, 2023) – An adult and child were left severely injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Saline County on Tuesday evening, May 30.

At around 8:00 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a crash on US Highway 65.

Reports from authorities indicate that a 2003 Dodge Durango was involved in a collision with a 2008 Ford F2 50 pickup truck on US Highway 65 near County Road 32. The Dodge was totaled as a result of the crash.

Two people in the Dodge, identified as 23-year-old Rebecca DeFoor and a 4-year-old female, were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported by ambulance to University Hospital, where they underwent emergency care.

At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
