Warrensburg, MO (June 4, 2023) – On June 3, emergency crews were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Johnson County and ended in injuries.

At around 9:15 a.m., a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 was traveling on Missouri State Route 13. As the vehicle traveled in the area of northeast 950th Road, it failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. As a result, the two vehicles collided.

Two people were hurt as a result of the crash. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and rendered aid to 29-year-old Kody Williams and 69-year-old Patricia Richey. Williams was transported to St. Luke’s East Hospital, where he underwent treatment for his injuries. Ritchie was transported to Centerpoint Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
