Kansas City, MO (May 1, 2023) – One person was fatally injured in a car crash that took place on this Sunday evening in Kansas City.
At approximately 4:10 p.m. on April 30, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident on US Highway 71.
Reports show that vehicles collided on the southbound side of Highway 71 in the area near Bannister Road. The incident involved an ambulance and an unknown number of vehicles. The crash blocked multiple lanes of the road, causing delays throughout the area.
Authorities confirmed that one person was fatally injured in the accident. Two people were injured in the crash and had to be transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
