Williams Township, MO (May 7, 2023) – Two people were left with significant injuries following a car crash that took place in Benton County on Friday afternoon, May 5.

According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Ford F650 crashed into the rear of a 2013 Honda CRV while traveling north on US Highway 65. The incident caused disruptions in traffic near Missouri State Route 52. The Honda was severely damaged in the accident and had to be towed from the scene.

Two people in the Honda, identified as 28-year-old Nickolas Kellar and 31-year-old Jamie Canfield, suffered significant injuries in the crash. Both victims were transported by Warsaw Lincoln ambulance to Bothwell Hospital, where they underwent emergency treatment.

The incident is currently being investigated.
