Garden City, MO – Woman Hurt in Crash on MO-7 at Sycamore Grove Rd

Garden City, MO (October 30, 2023) – On Saturday afternoon, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were sent to the scene of an automobile accident in Cass County.

The crash occurred at around 2:15 p.m. on October 28.

According to reports, a collision between a 2010 Subaru Outback and a 2005 Ford F350 pickup truck occurred on the southbound side of Missouri State Route 7. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near Sycamore Grove Road.

The Subaru was totaled in the crash and had to be removed from the scene by J’s Southland Towing.

The vehicle’s driver, 20-year-old Sophia Boyle of Lenexa, Kansas, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. She was transported to Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Missouri, by Garden City EMS.

At this time, investigations are underway to determine what caused the crash.
