Truck Accidents in Missouri

Truck crashes are the cause of countless injuries every year in the state of Missouri. These crashes are often preventable, yet we continue to see the devastating consequences that they bring. Some of the most common injuries reported in truck accidents across our state include:

  • Loss of limbs

Any serious injury can have an overwhelming impact on the person’s life. Many people are unprepared to deal with the extensive medical expenses, surgical procedures, and long-term care requirements that these accidents can cause. Regrettably, the majority of accidents that we see here in Missouri take place due to the negligence of other drivers. Leading factors include:

  • Distractions: When drivers fail to pay attention to the road ahead, they are likely to crash into other vehicles and suffer serious injuries.
  • Impairment: When drivers are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they are likely to lose control of their vehicles and crash into others. Unfortunately, impairment can have a significant impact on a person’s ability to responsibly control their vehicle.
  • Speeding: When vehicles are traveling at too high of speeds, they may not be able to stop in time to avoid collisions with others.
