Lone Jack, MO (April 19, 2024) – On April 16, emergency officials were requested at the scene of a car crash in Jackson County that ended in injuries. The accident occurred at around 3:55 p.m. in Lone Jack.
Official reports show that the driver of the 2014 Mercedes C350 was attempting to slow down for a vehicle making a left turn on F Highway at Grayum Road. The driver of a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck failed to control their vehicle and, as a result, crashed into the rear of the Mercedes. The Mercedes was severely damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Mercedes, 31-year-old Christina Borland of Daytona Beach, Florida, was injured in the accident. She was transported by Lone Jack Fire Department EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
