Holden, MO (May 17, 2024) – On May 15, a motor vehicle accident was reported in Johnson County that resulted in injuries. Authorities were called to the scene at around 5:34 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a 2009 Nissan was traveling on Missouri State Highway 131 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed over the center line at the intersection of US Highway 50 and crashed into a 2017 Subaru. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. The driver and passenger in the Subaru, identified as 25-year-old Isaac Denney and 29-year-old Emily Denney, were both injured. The victims were transported to Lees Summit Medical Center for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
