Salt Fork Twp., MO (May 15, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to assist at the scene of an automobile accident in Saline County. The accident took place at around 2:35 p.m. on May 13.
Official reports indicate that a 2009 Toyota Prius was traveling on the westbound side of County Road H when it became involved in a collision with a 2009 Ford F150 pickup truck. Preliminary reports indicate that the Toyota was attempting to slow down due to utility work near Mahogany Avenue when it was rear-ended by the Ford. The Toyota sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Chelsea Green of Marshall, Missouri, was injured. Green was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, Missouri, for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
