Richmond, MO – Amanda Hughes and Alice Morrow Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on MO-10 near BUS-10

Richmond, MO (May 16, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 42-year-old Amanda Hughes of Hardin, Missouri, and 68-year-old Alice Morrow of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, were both injured as a result of a car crash that took place in Ray County.

At approximately 7:50 p.m. on May 15, troopers were called to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route 10.

Reports from authorities show that the driver of the 2015 Toyota failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2011 Ford on Missouri State Route 10 near Business Highway 10. As a result, the two vehicles collided.

Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the crash. Authorities shut down the intersection as they removed the damaged vehicles. Both of the vehicles were removed from the scene by Green’s Towing.

The drivers of both vehicles, identified as Hughes and Morrow, were injured. Morrow was transported by Lawson Fire to Excelsior Springs Hospital. Hughes was transported to Ray County Memorial Hospital by Lexington EMS.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
