Sedalia, MO (June 9, 2024) - Emergency officials were requested at the scene of a car crash that occurred in Pettis County and left two people injured. The collision took place at around 9:40 a.m. on June 7.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2015 Ford Mustang collided with a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia on US Highway 50 near Route TT. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway. The Mustang was totaled in the accident. The Freightliner was moderately damaged after both vehicles went off the left side of the road. Both cars had to be towed from the scene. Two people involved in the accident were injured. Emergency medical services rendered aid to a 15-year-old female and 47-year-old Jeremiah Burton. Both victims were transported to the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
