Car Accidents in Missouri

In Missouri, vehicle crashes are often the result of drivers making careless choices on the road. Sadly, this leads to many accidents that could have been avoided, with tens of thousands of people getting hurt every year. Some of the main reasons for these accidents include:

  • Speeding: Rushing and going over the speed limit is another big reason for crashes. Trying to get somewhere faster can make it harder for drivers to control their cars.
  • Road Rage: Unfortunately, aggressive driving is also a common cause of accidents here. Every year, anger on the roads leads to serious crashes.
  • Distracted Driving: This is one of the top causes of car incidents in our state. Drivers get distracted by texting or not focusing fully on the road, leading to accidents.
  • Drinking and Driving: Driving under the influence is a huge issue in Missouri, causing numerous accidents annually. Alcohol impairs a driver's ability to stay in control, increasing the chances of ending up in an accident.

These risky behaviors continue to put innocent people at risk every day across our state. If you've been injured in a car crash, talking to a Butler car accident lawyer about filing a personal injury claim is a smart step.
