Warrensburg, MO (May 12, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which one person was hurt. The collision occurred at around 4:10 p.m. on May 9.
Official reports show that a red 2018 Honda Accord and a blue 2011 Chevrolet Silverado collided on US Highway 50. The incident blocked multiple lanes on the eastbound side of the roadway near West Business 50. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash and had to be removed from the scene by Tip Top Tow Company. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to care for the injured victims. The Johnson County Ambulance District transported one victim, 74-year-old Elizabeth Tuttle, to Research Medical Center for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
