Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Missouri

Pedestrian accidents in the United States have a profound impact on numerous individuals each year, affecting the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Tragically, over 7,000 victims lose their lives due to the injuries sustained in these accidents annually in the United States. Missouri, specifically, witnesses many fatalities resulting from pedestrian crashes.

In situations where pedestrians lose their lives due to another driver's negligence, the victim's family may seek financial compensation by filing a wrongful death claim. This legal action can help families recover compensation for various damages. Financial compensation can be awarded to the victim's family to address both the physical and emotional pain suffered by the victim before their death, commonly referred to as pain and suffering.

The family may also be able to seek compensation to alleviate the financial strain of funeral and burial expenses, including costs associated with funeral services and other end-of-life arrangements.

Additionally, in the aftermath of losing a loved one, the family may be eligible for compensation to help mitigate the emotional void resulting from the absence of their companionship. This can include the loss of comfort, affection, and love.
