Odessa, MO (May 24, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Lafayette area that left one woman with moderate injuries.

The accident was reported to MSHP at approximately 6:05 p.m. on May 23.

Reports from the Highway Patrol show that 65-year-old Deborah Friess was struck by a vehicle in the 7000 block of Highway FF. Friess sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported by ambulance to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency medical care.

At this time the incident is currently being investigated.
