KC has several different courts in which issues are addressed. Your case may by in the Kansas City, Kansas Municipal Court, which is often referred to as the Unified Government of Wyandotte County. Or, it could be in the District Court for Wyandotte County. If it is a felony, it is definitely supposed to be in the District Court.
